Application Form for Summer Employment Office of Religious Education, Diocese of Charlottetown PO Box 907, 350 North River Road, Charlottetown, PE C1A 7L9 BACKGROUND INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS: OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT: To deliver a Catholic Summer Vacation Bible Camp at six different parishes during July and August, 2008. JOB DESCRIPTIONS: A VBC Team consisting of one Camp Director and 5-6 Camp Leaders will be employed to plan the materials and process of a program called "Rainforest Adventure" and then, using the materials and process, will present the program at six different parish facilities within the Diocese. The term of employment is from June 30-August 29, 2008. which consists of two weeks for planning and orientation, six weeks for delivery, and one followup week for gathering of feedback, paperwork, evaluations, recommendations, and other final activities. Applicants must be youth between the ages of 15 and 30, and be active in the Catholic Church. Applicants must be committed and able to work as a team to provide a fun-filled and successful experience for camp participants. The Camp Director will be a mature youth who must have some post-secondary education, skills and experience in organizing and leading projects and must have a valid driver's licence and insurance. Successful applicants must be willing to submit for a background check. Applications must be received by the Office of Religious Education by May 15, 2008.
