Prayer Page Family Prayer for Peace The beautiful Easter season is a fitting time for families to renew their commitment to family prayer, particularly the Rosary.  Our Holy Father continues to urge families to pray the Rosary together: “World Peace passes through the peace of families, the fundamental cells of the whole human family.  Praying together helps to make a family more united, serene, and faithful to the Gospel.” (Submitted by Betty MacAulay, Souris)  “To recite the Rosary is nothing other than to contemplate with Mary the face of Christ.”  Pope John Paul II proclaimed the year from October 2002 to October 2003 the year of the Rosary.
