CHRISTIAN LIFE COMMUNITIES
Christian Life Communities is an international federation of small
groups of commited Christians who seek to integrate the realities of
lay experience of Ignatian Spirituality with basic Christian
community, and a mission of proclaiming the Gospel of justice and
love. It is neither a religious community nor a secular institute
but, rather, a lay directed, Ignatian-based movement which calls
members to unite their human life in all its dimensions with the
fullness of Christian faith. The movement is shaped by a charter of
General Principles which delineate in broad strokes the vision of CLC.

It supports women in their search for social and
economic justice.
DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE, the official development
organization of the Canadian Catholic Church established in 1967, is
inspired by the values of the Gospel, particularly "the

Refugee Sponsorship Coordinator
The Diocese is trying to establish a Refugee Sponsorship Committee in
as many parishes as posible on Prince Edward Island to try and help
the millions of refugees that are fleeing safety around the world. If
we could start with at least one person in each parish who has the
time and interest to start a Refugee Sponsoring Committee, it would
be wonderful.

Secular Franciscans
The Secular Franciscan Order is an association of
men and women (married and single) who live and work in the world
while following a way of life that is faithful to the original rule
of life written by St. Francis of Assisi. It is a group of people who
desire to live the Gospel in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.

fraternity is its diversity. Members come from all walks of life with
rich and varied religious perspectives; yet we are a family , united
